Call for Papers on Salutogenesis and Mental Health! Deadline 30 June, 2017

A special issue on Salutogenesis and Mental Health will be published in Scientifica
The theme for the Special Issue is Salutogenesis and Mental Health, and now open for submissions of full research articles and review papers. Scientifica has recently been accepted for coverage in the Emerging Sourses Citation Index, which is the New Edition of the Web of Science that was launched in November 2015. This means that any articles published in the journal will be indexed in the Web of Science at the time of publication.

We hereby invite you to submit a paper for the special issue on Salutogenesis and Mental Health. The Scope of the Special Issue is broad, dealing with themes linked to the related concepts of the sense of coherence (self-esteem, self-efficacy, inner strength, flourishing...), sense of coherence and mental illnesses (depression, PTSD, suicidal behavior, eating disorders...), mental health promotion among various groups (patients, children, families, refugees, immigrants...), salutogenesis related to migration and immigration, salutogenesis in clinical practice, in different life situations (war, disasters, terror attacks...), and salutogenic interventions. Papers using quantitative as well as qualitative study design are equally appreciated.

Scientifica currently has an acceptance rate of 33 %. The average time between submission and final decition is 57 days and the average time between acceptance and publication is 30 days. Publishing an article in Scientifica requires Article Processing Charges that will be billed to the submitting author following the acceptance of an article for publication.
